Joinery Cut To The Millimetre In Our Own Al Quoz Workshop

Kitchens, wardrobes, paneling and ceilings are drawn, cut and finished by our own carpenters, then installed by the same team that built them.

Most fitout contractors in Dubai buy their joinery from a third-party supplier and hope the measurements match the site. Fixing Care runs its own carpentry workshop in Al Quoz, staffed by long-serving master joiners who cut every kitchen, wardrobe and panel we install. Because the same company measures, draws, manufactures and fits the joinery, there is no handoff where a wardrobe arrives two centimetres short or a kitchen island does not sit flush with the wall. Our carpenters work in solid timber, veneer, laminate and lacquer finishes to match any interior direction, from a minimalist handleless kitchen to a traditional majlis with carved detailing.

Joinery is usually the most visible craftsmanship in a home or office, and it is also the trade most likely to disappoint when it is outsourced. We start every joinery project with precise on-site measurement, followed by shop drawings you approve before any material is cut. Production happens in our workshop on a schedule that lines up with the rest of your fitout programme, so joinery arrives exactly when the site is ready for it rather than sitting in storage or holding up the handover. Our installation crews are the same carpenters who built the pieces, so any on-site adjustment is made by someone who understands the joinery from the inside.

One Workshop, One Standard, Every Time

When your joinery is cut by a subcontractor you have never met, quality depends on who happened to be on shift that week. Our workshop keeps the same foreman and core team on every job, which means the wardrobe you receive today is built to the same tolerance as the kitchen we delivered last year. We hold physical material and finish samples in our showroom so you can feel the veneer and see the lacquer sheen before committing, and every piece is measured on-site twice, once before manufacture and once before installation, to remove the guesswork that causes ill-fitting joinery elsewhere.

Joinery & Carpentry Questions

What materials do you use for custom joinery?

We work with MDF, plywood, solid timber and veneer substrates finished in lacquer, laminate or natural wood stain, selected based on your budget, moisture exposure and desired finish. We bring physical samples to your site visit so you can compare options in person.

How long does a custom kitchen or wardrobe take to build?

A standard kitchen or wardrobe set typically takes two to four weeks from approved shop drawings to on-site installation, depending on complexity and finish. We confirm your exact timeline once measurements and drawings are signed off.

Do the same carpenters who build the joinery install it?

Yes. The team that cuts and finishes your joinery in our Al Quoz workshop also carries out the on-site installation, so any adjustment needed for a real-world wall or floor is made by someone who understands the piece.
